The Kings Arms 17th century coaching inn is located just off the A39, on the B3072 Holsworthy - Stratton road one mile from Bude, in the centre of the town of Stratton. We have a car park at the rear of the pub or there is a public car park close by. The bar has a cornish Delabole slate floor with a log burner to keep you warm in the cooler months and in the lounge bar/dining area we have just refurbished the parque floor which now looks superb, and have replaced all the old seats with comfortable chairs and another log burner to keep you warm. We have a pool table in a separate room and dart board to keep you entertained.
Historical - Our pub was built around 365 years ago and to capture some of this history we have about 50 prints of the pub and surrounding areas on display in our lounge bar, all with interesting narrative. You can come and see how the pub was effected by flooding, meet some of the locals/characters from many years ago, builders with amazing ladders replacing the roof (something I had to do a few years ago) and much more.
